On this day in about 2000 years ago, Jesus was crucified on the cross by Jews based on his claim that He is king over Jews and Gentile, He was sent by God to fulfill His will. He died in our place, so our sins could be forgiven, God's wrath on us could be cesased, His blood shed for our reconsilation with God. His suffering on the cross which we should bear, he endured for us. He is the perfect sacrifice for our transgress. He died, buried, on third day he rose again. His resurrection is such a wonderful news to all who put faith in Him.
Jesus told us that " He who is not with me is against me, ad he who does not gather with me, scatters." (Luke 11 : 23) Are you with Jesus or not? One day He will come back with authority from Father to judge all living creatures on earth. Dead throung one man , Adam, life through another man, Jesus.
We commemorate His death, and looking forward to His coming back.
